Belonging Pick Up/Tech Return

Student Belonging and Report Card Pick Up/Tech Return

June 17, 2021

Dear Truedell Families,

Re: Process for Student Belonging and Report Card Pick Up/Technology Return

We would like to provide you with information about the process for dropping off technology and picking up your child’s report card and belongings. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic restrictions, LDSB and Public Health have directed that school gatherings (even small ones) are not permitted at this time. As a result, we looked for a way for students to see their teachers in-person and say goodbye before the summer holidays begin.

Graduating students will pick up their diplomas and belongings on Monday, June 21st. A similar process will be followed using family appointments from Tuesday, June 22nd– Thursday, June 24th during the school day. Families with students in Kindergarten – Grade 7 should sign up for a ten-minute time slot to visit the school using the following link: https://outlook.office365.com/owa/calendar/JK7StudentBelongingsPickUpandTechnologyDropOff@limestoneschools.onmicrosoft.com/bookings/s/bCsnieVi3kGptA7uEFXW8A2

Please note that time slots will be filled on a first come, first served basis. If you are unable to come during one of the available time slots, please contact the school and we will arrange to have your children(s) items available from the main office the following week.

Public Health regulations restrict us from having families and students enter the school. Instead, teachers will distribute items from the back doors of their classrooms or from their divisional doors. Kindergarten classes will distribute from the Kindergarten hallway doors and Mr. Rich will distribute from the Primary Division doors. We will distribute report cards if they are ready at the time of the appointment and collect loaned technology. Please don’t forget to return

chargers and cords! If report cards are not yet ready at the time of your family’s visit, they will be mailed to you. We will also put the Lost and Found items out in front of the school for families to go through when they first arrive at the school. Please come a few minutes early so that you can have a look through these items. Anything not picked up by the end of school will be donated to goodwill.

During Your Time Slot:

Step 1: Look through the Lost and Found at the front of the school.

Step 2: Begin your visit with your youngest child’s classroom and then move on to the classes for your other children (visit classroom exterior doors in order of youngest to oldest, please).

Step 3: Return technology to your child’s teacher.

Step 4: Pick up your child’s belongings and report card.

Thank you for your flexibility and understanding throughout the school year. We wish students and their families a safe and happy summer!

Sincerely,

Pamela Jacob
Principal
