📝 Principal's Message
Dear Timberwolf Families,
We hope everyone had a chance to enjoy the beautiful weather over the weekend! It’s been another full and vibrant week here at Truedell with plenty of learning, exploration, and school spirit.
Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
Last week, Individual Education Plans (IEPs) were sent home with students. Families are welcome to connect with their child’s teacher if they have any questions. Thank you for your continued collaboration in supporting student learning.
Cross Country Update
Our Timberwolves gave it their all at the recent cross country race at Fort Henry! Congratulations to all our runners on their incredible effort, perseverance, and teamwork. We are so proud of how you represented our school. Best of luck to our athletes heading to the district finals next week. We will be cheering you on every step of the way. Go Timberwolves!
Beyond Classrooms & Experiential Learning
This week, our Grade 5/6 students will be participating in Beyond Classrooms, an exciting initiative that brings learning into the community and deepens student engagement through real world experiences. Mr. Keeler’s class will also welcome guest speaker Patrick Callaghan, who will be facilitating learning related to mental health.
In addition, Queen’s University Biology will be visiting the Grade 2/3 students to lead engaging, hands on science activities. Several of our classes are also heading out on a field trip. We look forward to hearing all about their learning, adventures, and discoveries!
Grade 7/8 Immunizations
A reminder that Grade 7 and 8 immunizations will take place at the school on Wednesday. Families should ensure consent forms are completed if they have not already done so. Please see information below.
Little Caesars Fundraiser
This is the final week for our Little Caesars fundraiser. If you would like to place an order, please be sure to submit it before the deadline. Thank you for your support!
Thank you as always for your continued support and partnership. October continues to bring exciting opportunities for growth, and we are proud of all the learning happening across our school community.
Yours in education,
David Allison
Principal
